Jacquemontia Pentantha
Jacquemontia Pentantha Flowering Plant, also known as skybkue clustervine, is a flowering vine from the family Convolvulaceae. It grows in coastal hammock and dune areas. It is a perennial twining evergreen vine that flowers in fall and winter.
It is named by French botanist and geologist Victor Jacquemont (1801-1832) who traveled to India.Synonyms include Convolvulus pentanthos and Jacquemontia violacea
Jacquemontia pentantha fast-growing, twining climber, branching freely from the base, with heart-shaped to ovate, mid- to bright green leaves, 5cm long, which taper to a slender point.Jacquemontia Pentantha Flowering Plant Long-stalked cymes of up to 12 funnel-shaped, white-eyed, violet-blue to blue flowers, 2-4cm wide, are produced mainly from summer to late autumn.
